Fall is when the drink aisle turns over. Summer flavors get cleared out, apple and caramel move in, and a few brands use the season to launch something new. This batch is heavy on apple (three sodas and an energy drink went that way), with a pair of mocktail-flavored sparkling waters, a protein soda, two energy launches, and a hydrogen water that just landed at Target. Every drink here is non-alcoholic, sold in cans and buyable in the US, with a dated launch announcement from August or September 2026.

First look: this roundup is based on the brands' launch announcements, verified labels and current pricing. We haven't tasted these yet, so there are no rankings or scores.

How we picked

To make the list, a drink needed a dated launch source from roughly the last two months (a brand press release or a trade report), a can format, and a way for US shoppers to buy it today. We checked every calorie, sugar, caffeine and sweetener number on the brand's own product page or a retailer listing. Where a number wasn't published, we left it out.

1. Olipop Caramel Apple

Launched September 9, 2026 (limited edition, while supplies last). Olipop's fall flavor pairs green apple with a buttery caramel note. Per Olipop's product page, each 12 oz can has 50 calories, 5g sugar (1g added) and 9g fiber, sweetened with apple juice concentrate, cassava syrup and stevia. It's part of the brand's refrigerated 9g-fiber line, so look for it in the cold case at Target, Walmart and Whole Foods, or order from drinkolipop.com (about $36 per 12-pack direct, and it was showing out of stock online when we checked). Check price on Amazon.

2. Culture Pop Sparkling Apple

Launched September 8, 2026 (limited edition). Culture Pop's founder describes it as somewhere between crisp apple and sparkling cider. It's sweetened only with fruit juice, with no stevia or other high-intensity sweeteners, and adds cinnamon plus a live probiotic (Bacillus subtilis DE111). The brand lists 45–50 calories per 12 oz can. You'll find it at Albertsons, Wegmans, Giant Food, H-E-B, Stop & Shop and other grocers, or at about $30 per 12-pack from drinkculturepop.com. 3. Proda Golden Apple Protein Soda

Launched September 2, 2026. Apple number three is a protein soda. Proda's eighth flavor has 10g of protein and 0g sugar per 12 oz can and is caffeine-free. It's sold in Sprouts' grab-and-go coolers nationwide, on Amazon, on TikTok Shop, and at drinkproda.com for about $40 per 12-pack, which makes it the priciest can on this list. Check price on Amazon.

4. bubly Berry Sparkle Sangria and Paradise Paloma

In stores from September 7, 2026 (announced September 8, limited time). bubly borrowed two cocktail names, but there's no alcohol in either can. Berry Sparkle Sangria blends raspberry, strawberry, orange, lemon and lime. Paradise Paloma is grapefruit and lime. Like the rest of the line they have 0 calories and no sweeteners. The ingredient list is just carbonated water and natural flavor. They come in 8-packs of 12 oz cans at grocers nationwide, including Kroger stores, and on Amazon. 5. Alani Nu Witch's Brew, Ruby Apple and Voodoo Vanilla

Launched August 12, 2026 (announced August 10, limited edition). Alani Nu brought back Witch's Brew (green apple and caramel) and added two new flavors. Ruby Apple (red apple and caramel) is sold only in a "Potion Pack" alongside Witch's Brew. Voodoo Vanilla is a whipped cream and marshmallow "energy elixir" sold only at AlaniNu.com, Amazon and The Vitamin Shoppe. Specs from the launch release:

All are zero sugar. Witch's Brew is sweetened with sucralose, acesulfame potassium and erythritol, according to Alani Nu's product page. Witch's Brew is in grocery and convenience stores nationwide. The brand's own site lists it at about $30 per 12-pack, but it showed sold out there when we checked, so stores and Amazon are your best bet. The brand says these drinks aren't for anyone under 18 or sensitive to caffeine. Check price on Amazon.

6. BeGOAT Mandarin Orange Zero Sugar

Launched September 25, 2026. BeGOAT is a smaller clean-label energy brand, and this is its newest zero-sugar flavor. Each 12 oz can has 200mg of caffeine from coffee fruit (cascara), 0 calories and 0g sugar, and is sweetened with monk fruit and stevia. The brand says it uses six ingredients. It's mostly sold online at drinkbegoat.com (about $35 per 12-pack, with free shipping) and in a growing number of stores in the western US. Comparing it with the big names? 7. oHy Hydrogen Sparkling Water (new at Target)

Nationwide Target launch announced September 21, 2026. oHy isn't a brand-new drink: it's been sold online and at some grocers. This is its first big national retail rollout, reaching about 800 Target stores. The organic sparkling water is infused with molecular hydrogen and has 0 calories, 0 sugar and no sweeteners, plus 30mg of magnesium per 12 oz can. Target carries four flavors (Blackberry, Raspberry, Cherry Lime and Strawberry Lemon) at about $1.29 a can. The brand markets hydrogen as an antioxidant for energy and recovery. Those are the brand's claims, not something we've verified, so buy it as a clean, unsweetened sparkling water. Check price on Amazon.

Which should you try?

Want a fall soda with some fiber? Olipop Caramel Apple sounds the most dessert-like of the three apple cans. Culture Pop Sparkling Apple is the pick if you'd rather skip stevia. Want protein in a can? Proda Golden Apple, if the price doesn't bother you. Want zero calories and zero sweeteners? bubly's mocktail flavors or oHy. Want seasonal energy? Alani Nu Witch's Brew is the easiest to find. BeGOAT is the one to try if you want 200mg of caffeine with no artificial sweeteners.

Most of these are limited editions, so if one catches your eye, don't wait until November.

Prices checked September 2026 and may vary by retailer.
